Grand Cayman Resort Dive Course

Red Sail Sports Resort Course is perfect for the adventurer who would just like to try Scuba Diving. It's also ideal for those who would like to go diving and do not have the time for a full certification. Includes two hours of instruction in the pool followed by a 2 hour/1-tank open water dive. Dives are in the 20-30' range and guided by an instructor. All instruction and necessary equipment is included. Custom-built boats and equipment, highly trained instructors and Red Sail Sports professionalism and service give you the best diving Grand Cayman has to offer. Gulf Island Kayaking and Float Plane Adventure

Protected from the open ocean and close to Vancouver, the Gulf Islands are a sea-kayaking paradise. Marine life here is among the most diverse in the world's temperate waters. Rocky reefs, lush kelp beds and protected bays are home to a myriad of marine invertebrates, fish, and sea mammals.Seals, river otters and sea lions are often observed in the Gulf Islands. Sightings of Killer Whales, harbour seals and Dall's porpoise are rare, although they too inhabit these waters. Colonies of gulls and cormorants are scattered throughout the area, which also contains several breeding sites for bald eagles, oyster catchers and pigeon guillemots.Your adventure begins with a ferry ride to Galiano Island where you embark in comfortable two-seater sea kayaks. Qualified and knowledgeable guides will interpret the wildlife around you and make sure your trip is safe and memorable. Your adventure ends with a floatplane ride into the sunset back to Vancouver.Experience or fitness are not required for this trip.

Hawaii Two Tank Dive

The Big Island's Kohala Coast offers some of the best diving in the Hawaiian Islands. The water here is clear year-round often exceeding 100-foot visibility, with temperatures ranging from 72 degrees in the winter to 80 degrees in the summer. The Big Island is still growing, thanks to the world's most active volcano, Kilauea. As a result, the Kohala coast is dominated by intricate lava flows, tunnels and crevices. The 'Lani Kai' (Heavenly Seas) is Red Sail Sports 38-foot Delta Dive boat, designed in the United States for operation in the Pacific. The boat, which comfortably accommodates up to 18, was designed with a diver's needs and comfort in mind. It is equipped with a spacious dive platform, restroom facilities, fresh water showers and fresh water rinse buckets. Mask, fins, snorkels, cold beverages, seasonal fresh fruit, snacks and fresh towels are provided with every dive Snorkelers are also welcome! If you wish to come along on this diving tour, but do not dive, you are still welcome! Hidden Valley Falls Kayak and Kauai Hike Adventure

This activity is a delightful downwind Kauai kayak paddle, about two miles in length. You'll go through the Hule'ia Nat'l Wildlife Refuge, a place for the preservation of endangered Hawaiian water birds. You'll paddle past the Alekoko (Menehune) Fishpond, a living archaeological site - it's an example of the ancient's fishing and aquiculture methods that's still utilized today. The backdrop is the magnificent Haupu Mountain Range, a dramatic and majestic 2000' shield volcano that looms over the river. The destination is a series of 3 pool-drop waterfalls with a swimming hole known as Hidden Falls.The area is steeped in legend, and your guides will tell you exciting stories about the supernatural inhabitants of the valley in days gone by. Interestingly, Hule'ia has been the site of filming for a wide range of major motion pictures, including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, and it's sequel Lost World.You'll leave your kayaks behind, and set out on a 1.5 mile round trip guided nature walk through a pristine tropical rain forest containing many different communities of plants, birds, and aquatic life, both native and introduced. You will stop along the way at swimming holes with rope swings and then finally reach your destination; Hidden Valley Falls, a captivating series of pool-drop waterfalls cascading over black lava rock. Here you'll have some snacks and cold drinks, enjoy the scenery for a while, and then head back down to the river for a fun trip back in a double-hulled powered canoe. It's cheating, but who cares?Restrictions: You must be able to walk 1.5 miles & kayak 60-90 minutes.
