You will leave the comfort of your hotel and travel across the desert by 4x4 vehicle. The drive takes you to some of the most beautiful sand dunes of the deserts in Dubai.Upon reaching the dunes, you have the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of the one of the most popular sports in the desert - sandboarding! No trip to Dubai is complete without at least one slide down a sand dune.

You will be collected from Jumbo Shopping Center and transferred to Sioux City parking lot where a full explanation of the day will be given. Proceed to El Salobre and Lomos de Pedro where you will stop for photos. Continue through the pine trees of Pajonales and Cercados de Arana, where Lake Chira is situated. If there has been enough rain to fill the lake, you have the chance to go for a swim. Reach the highest point of the day at Ayacata (approximately 1,200 meters). You will stop for a three course lunch of soup or salad, meat and potatoes, and seasonal fruits for dessert. One drink is also included at lunch (wine, beer, soft drink or water). Your return route takes you through the Lake of Ninas and the Valley of Mogan.

This exciting boat ride takes you along the Puerto Marquez Lagoon, located behind the Puerto Marquez Bay. Boats travel on a velocity of 50 kilometers per hour, so you will be riding at high speed, turning 360 degrees, and feeling the thrill of skimming over churning white waters on this powerful jet boat.This tour is not suitable for infants aged 3 years and under.

Imagine landing on an active VolcanoÂ… Well this is your chance! Fly east and take in the views of Lakes, forest and Volcanic Fault Line. Landing for approximately one-hour on White Island - the most continuously active of New Zealand's volcanoes. The island rises over 300 meters (nearly 1000 feet) above sea level but 70% of the whole structure is under the water, making it New Zealand's largest volcano. Trek up to the crater through remains of Sulphur Works, boiling water, crystallized sulphur and much more. If the option is chosen you will also land at Mount Tarawera. This volcano is made of rhyolite, a very viscous lava which does not flow easily. It has a very impressive feature - a chasm which passes through all three domes and opens up their interior, the higher parts reachable by foot. On the return flight - watch for dolphins and school fish on the surface.

A glider is an unpowered aircraft - an airplane without a motor. Gliders are amazing graceful machines and are about as close as humans can get to soaring like birds. Just imagine yourself gliding effortlessly, silently, peacefully high above the Nevada Desert, barely a sound to disturb you. First your glider, since it lacks an engine, will be towed by a tow plane to the desired altitude. Then feel the tow rope release as your glider takes to the desert thermals - columns of rising air created by the heating of the Earth's surface. Fly for approximately 30 minutes, where you will experience High G and Zero G maneuvers, wing-overs, loops, spins and stalls! The thermals keep these unique aircraft airborne (flight time may be extended if conditions permit). Without engines to disturb the silence - the only sound you'll hear is the WOOOOOSH of the wind across the wings as you perform some awesome aerobatics. The scenery of this half day expedition is unforgettable with spectacular scenery and splashy cool rapids.You will be driven 19 miles up river from Moab along scenic route 128. You will meet your guides and rafts after traveling past beautiful high walled red rock canyons and into Professor Valley. You will set out on the water after a brief safety orientation.The afternoon's expedition includes photogenic vistas of Professor Valley. This valley is the location of many films including John Wayne's western movies "Fort Apache" and "Rio Grand" and more recently, "City Slickers II" and "Larger than Life". Slightly downstream, you will stop for a picnic on the shore, where the guides will prepare a delicious lunch. Afterwards, you will move into the faster moving water where the largest rapid challenges the expert guide's skill to provide fun and excitement for all.Towering canyon walls rise up on both sides of the sun-dappled river. Your naturalist guide will recount fascinating and humorous stories, entertaining you with history, geology, plant and animal lore, sharing their knowledge, enthusiasm and a sense of play. The schedule is leisurely and there is time for swimming (life jackets remain on), water fights between rafts. This is a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
