In the heart of New Delhi, the bustling capital of India, a lotus-shaped outline has etched itself on the consciousness of the city's inhabitants, capturing their imagination and fuelling their curiosity. Since its dedication to public worship in December 1986, the temple has seen millions of people cross its threshold, making it one of the most visited edifices in India. This is the Bahá'à Mashriqu'l-Adhkar, better known as the "Lotus Temple". This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken on a tour of the Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahai Temple. Situated on top of the Kalka hill, this distinctive lotus shaped marvel in marble, surrounded by a landscaped garden, has been dubbed the Taj Mahal of the 21st century. It is a Bahai Place of worship and is very quiet and peaceful and ideal for meditation.
