Spectacular mountains, pristine wilderness and unique flora and fauna await you in this walk. In six days you experience two very special National Parks in the highlands of Central Tasmania.Begin with two days bushwalking, with easy to moderate single day walks in the Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park. From your base in cabins inside the National Park, your first trip is across the button grass plains and alpine herb meadows to the cool silent waters of Dove Lake and perhaps even the summit of Cradle Mountain.The following four days are spent in the Walls of Jerusalem, a region of towering rock walls and spectacular mountain peaks. Native pencil pines, waratah and lemon scented boronia open the senses to some of Tasmania's beautiful flora. The base camp is reached on the first day and circuit walks allow you to explore the area without backpacks.It's a memorable holiday and Tasmanian Expeditions look forward to showing you a slice of this wonderful isle.This tour is seasonal and only operates between September and June
